Java Fern reproduction and replanting of the offsprings?

My Java Fern has started sprouting lil ferns for a while, but I have no idea how/when to separate the wee ones to plant them on their own. They are still very small and have around 4-5 leaves each, with long roots. Can anyone give me tips?

Most of the time i just let them release themselves off the mother plant and they float around till they get caught on something and start to take root..........You can carefully pull them off with the roots intact and what i usually do is find a crack on my driftwood and wedge the baby plant in it...................unless you have fish that mess with your plants, they should stay there.................you can tie them or rubberband them to a rock or wood if this doesnt work for you
