Java fern growing baby fern....?

Does this look like when java fern reproduces and sprouts new baby leaves? and if it is what do you do with it? will it just grow as on leaf and then break off? can I attach it to something once its grown etc?

The answer to all of your questions is yes. =)

Wait for it to get larger and grow a couple leaves before you take it off. Or you can leave it and eventually it will break itself off and float off to find a home.

sometimes they don't break off, but they still look pretty cool when they grow in layers.
