If java moss dies can you bring it back to life?

If java moss dies can you bring it back to life?

If java moss had been sent in the mail and turned brown..is it completely dead or will the spores regenerate?

The problem is that even if there are some tiny bits of living moss in the mass of brown, you don't really have a way to get it away from the dead parts...

Adding a lot of dead plant to an aquarium could trigger an ammonia spike.

Then again, if you have some snails, it's not too much moss, and the tanks big enough, it could work fine.


Might not be worth the time though, since java moss takes a while to settle in and begin growing.
You could demand a refund.

"If I have some snails"....hah....I think I have every snail imaginable..I don't think this amount will spike my ammonia..yeah I think I will get a refund or have them reship..I do live in the desert so it is hard to get plants to arrive alive here..especially on a long trip. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced it. And since it is a slow grower it would be better to just order some rather than waiting it out for nothing..
