Basically this article stresses that higher order plants easily out compete algae for base level phosphates. And one is advised to dot disrupt the substrate in well planted aquarium and introduce phosphates to the water column. Nor should one introduce phosphates in any too great of an amount into their aquarium if you do not desire mass algae blooms. There is more of course - please read and decide for yourself.
