I purchased two plants from my LFS and not sure what the second one is. I have a straight vallis on the right side. Can anyone identify it for me? I also ordered some water wisteria, java fern, dwarf anubias nana, and some flame moss. I plan on putting the anubias right up front where the two main viewing panes meet. I was also considering taking some silicone glue and arranging the slate to form more of a hiding area for the fish and then planting the flame moss on it. My other idea is to get some plastic screen or mesh and create a cave and plant the moss there. The Wisteria, java fern, and vallis I am worried about having room for all of them in the back area of the tank, especially in relation to being on the heater or too close to the intake of the filter. The unidentified plant I am not sure how big it will grow.
It is a 35gal hex tank, the light is labeled as 14watt and the fixture has a sticker on the back that says 40watt so I may be able to upgrade the light. I think I have 260sq in on the base of the tank, the panes are 10in each and I believe I have about 23 in height of the tank. My other area to consider is I think I am going to buy 5-6 panda corydoras and I have one pleco, 6 swordtail, and may add a group of glowfish or something else. I added some smaller gravel to the large stuff in some of the pics and removed the dead coral that I had in the tank. The small gravel looks good, the picture looks terrible for some reason lol.
