Well there are cyanoacrylate adhesives for attaching corals, and they're basically superglue.

There are also a ton of underwater epoxies that are safe (used for patching an aquarium without draining it).

Still, I just wedge the java fern babies into the java fern that's there. Seems to attach pretty quick.

Another reason I like java moss- the java ferns get tangled up in it. :)

you have to tie the moss down too, correct? Is it alright to tie it to plastic decorations? I have a fake log that would look nicer with a bit of moss or fern or something on it.
