How to "plant" christmas moss?

Hey guys, I have recently bought some christmas moss for my tank, and I am having a hard time finding info on how I should "plant" it. I basically have just been able to find out that it is similar to Java moss, but I can't find info on how to "plant" java moss either. Do i just set it in there? (this is what I will do for now)

Thanks for any and all help/advice,

Tie it to a decoration with black thread or fishing line...

It looks especially nice on driftwood, but some porous stones also look nice with it.

For best results, cut it into extremely small pieces before you tie it on. (Or spread it as thin as possible, wrap it around the wood, and tie it in several places- then cut the moss everywhere you can between the string overlaps)
