How much will co2 injection lower my ph?

I really want to plant my tank but I am a little nervous about the ph drop.I am currently at @ @8. After 8 24 hours so am I going to use chemicals to bring down the ph when doing a pwc ?

You don't need to add CO2 for plants and you shouldn't adjust your pH with chemicals, it doesn't usually end well for the fish.

Total years fish keeping experience: 7 months, can't start counting in years for a while yet.

The shotgun approach to a planted tank with an LED fixture

Small scale nitrogen cycle with a jar, water and fish food; no substrate, filter etc
