Yes, the CO2 makes a huge difference. For example the new Aquavitro (by Seachem) brand ferts, "Envy" for example, the bottle recommends dosing 3x weekly. And these are extremely concentrated fertilizers as well. Obviously this is assuming you have a CO2 set up.
