Ummm okay am I understand you here correctly when you are saying Mirage grow organic choice potting mix (what I am using) does not have good soil bacteria? Or are you saying it is a good idea to keep introducing the bacteria to it to keep it "healthy"?

There some spots I "might" be able to find some that is but they are full of rocks. I will get out one day and see I can find any usable sections.

you really only have to do it once. I make the soil tabs because not all of my tanks have soil and it doesn't hurt.

I'm no chemist, and most of it's just based on my own theories...If the micracle grow has been working well for a long time, I'm sure it's not a huge problem. The OC potting soil will eventually grow a wide variety of microorganisms... I just like to make sure it's a wide variety.

Ok was just wondering there. Once I can get my hands on some clay I will get the rest of the ingredients for the root tablets. When you add dirt you just add dirt from your yard?

As far as I know that it is not challenging to create fertilizer. You don't even have to invest just one dime. Fertilizer help the soil become wealthy and prepared to give nutritional value to the vegetation or vegetables.
