Help Me! Brown Spot on Plant Leaves

Hello Friends,

i am very new to this hobby. i have 3 week old planted tank.

from last few days my plants having brown spots on the leaf. what should i do? is it harmful for my plants?

Can you rub, gently of course, the "brown spots" from th plant? If so, it is algae. If not, and the "spot"Goes completely through the plant it is either a lack of nutrients or ammonia burn.
