Help with Dwarf Water Lettuce?

Hello. I have noticed new baby sproutlings offshooting my adult dwarf water lettuce. Do I need to cut the stem connecting the two or do they seperate on their own?

You don't need to do anything. The plantlet gets additional energy from the parent plant and will typically grow a little more rapidly, at least initially, if it stays attached. It will eventually detach, but it's also no issue if you separate them - the plantlet will do just fine on its own!

18 species/varieties of fish, 15 species/varieties of plants - The fish are finally ahead of the plants!
*560 gallons (2120 liters) in 5 tanks -> you do the math.

Don't worry, they'll spread like weeds on their own ;) It starts slow if you only have a couple plants, but the growth is exponential (1 becomes 2 becomes 4 becomes 8 becomes 16 etc etc).
