Got some new plants!

Finally found some Water Sprites yesterday after looking for 2 weeks. 1 for my 25 gallon, and 1 for my 10 gallon, since I was there I bought another Amazon Sword and what I think the guy said was an Onion plant?(far left front cornor)what would you's say? I think I'am finally finished my 25 gallon but plan on planting more in the 10 gallon!

Nice looking tanks, I have a heck of a time finding nice plants in my area, if I want something nice and snail free pretty much have to order online.

Your tanks look great. I've heard of the onion plants and have seen pictures of them used in show tanks. I've read that they are hardy plants and do well in moderate light with a little fertilizer. They get up to 60 inches long but you can trim them for the height you want.

Thanx, It only took me 6 months to get this far...but it was worth it! I sure learned alot over that time, and I'am still learning new things all the time! Could'nt have done it with out the advise of alot of the members on this site! I can't wait to start my new tank next fall, a 55 gallon cichlid tank! Just have to work on the wife to let me do it!lol

The commonly-named Onion Plant has a bulb which resembles an onion from which leaves grow upward and roots downward. Can't see that in the photo, but the leaves are strap-like which is what they would be.

I had no luck with this plant, due I suspect to my very soft water.

If it's not the Onion Plant it could be some type of Vallis.
