No. I'm one who doesn't fuss over this or that plant; if the plant species does well, I use it, but if not, I get something else. I have maybe half a dozen pods spread among 3 tanks, and it has exhibited some increased vigour lately. May be seasonal, many plants go through slow-growth rest phases of several weeks. Some, like most Aponogetons, die back completely. It is puzzling though, since other floating plants like Ceratopteris absolutely thrives in any tank.
