Cool First New Live Plants

Well today I have a order of live plants coming in and right now I'm hoping I have some luck keeping them alive, as well as hoping they bring some balance in the tank water. A while ago, I had trouble with chlorine, now its a thing in the past considering that my fish are still alive and well. Now I have problems getting the water to soften and oxidize the water because I've tried tablets which worked okay, but after a couple of days, the water returned to its original setting. And right now I've been using an air stone to circulate the water because without it, a couple of fish tend to take longer gulps of air from the water. Right now I'm wondering if I'll need any kind of fertilizer for them or will they survive without it? And if fertilizer is required, can it be added sometime after I've put in the plants because right now the only place to find the kind for aquatic plants is online.

The plants I'm receiving are

1x Anubias Barteri, potted
1x Anubias Nana, potted
2x Java Ferns Bare Root
1x Java Fern Lace Medium, Bunch
2x Jungle Val

The one that I'll still be waiting for is

2x Hornwort, Bunch

Will wish me luck and I hope my clown pleco won't try to have them for lunch.

Only one of those plants I would worry about fertilizer for is the vals.
