I'm not worried about algae because I have a hill stream loach and he needs its. I have some algae but its pretty much the perfect amount for the loach and snails I have. The Amazon sword plants seen to be jumping up. They are starting to poke out of the water. My taxes just came in so I'm going to be putting in a big order of plants and cherry shrimp. My tank is going to be a jungle lol.
