Well plants work differently in different tanks. I know I added some crypts to one of my tanks and the cabomba suddenly died off. I suspect Allellopathy.

still very strange that 3 of 4 easy plants fail to grow for me. My stargrass looks like tis doing better but only because i let it float. It didn't want to grow in the gravel.

I had the most beautiful Cabomba and Anacharis filling the sides and back of my tank. Then all of a sudden they were trashed by the fish and never recovered. It was disappointing as my tank never looked so lovely as it did when it was filled in so much by those plants.

I might try again now that the super active fish are no longer in that tank. Well, I do have Cories so that might be an issue. They are lively little farts on the bottom of the tank.
