duckweed from pond

Would it be safe to bring in some duckweed from our campus pond and place it an aquarium?

Is very good way to introduce unwanted parasites to your tank. Even a good rinsing may not remove what could prove to be contributer of disease with fishes.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

I wouldn't risk it for duckweed- it becomes a pain in an aquarium... Trust me.

I had to fight ich, and that was a pain for a couple weeks... I've been trying to get rid of my duckweed for 2 months!!
