1 bottle of DIY yeast injected into a canister filter on a 60gallon will have minimal effect. Run a air stone at night and it will have close to no effect. You will not have full diffusion using the filter and 1 liter bottle isn't enough for a 60 gallon.

I agree about avoid excel unless it is actually NEEDED. That stuff like to randomly kill specific plants and stock and seems to stress fish more then anything.
