Can Anubias be grown out of water?
I had a great Idea this morning, I have this problem with blackbeard algae in this one tank since it was set up. This tank is a heavy planted tank, and has virtuially free of algae with the exception of the slowly spreading blackbeard. so I read Anubas can be grown emersed and I took them out and put them in bread pans with water (what else an I gona use the pans for, bread). well now a half a day later the leves do not look happy. the leaves have shriveld up and are probably dead. well so much for my good idea. Why did this happen? I know I have heard from multiple sources that anubias can be and are grown above water.
