Buying Compact Florescent Light

I am trying to get new light bulbs for my hood. I am looking for two 10 watt Screw-in Compact Florescent bulb. I am trying to look for one online but I am not really getting any luck. Can anyone give me a reliable and cheap place online where I can purchase them. Thanks a bunch!

Have you checked Lowes? I just went today and picked up some bulbs for my aquarium and they have a ton of CFL's there. I bought 2x 48" bulbs for $8.00 (Twin Pack)

The hardware-type stores usually carry CFL bulbs, like Home Depot, Lowe's, and others in your area. These are made by GE, Sylvania, and Phillips. Make sure you get the ones rated 6500K, all three manufacturers make them. They come in various wattage, but the 10w work well over the smaller tanks, say up to 20g or so.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
