Bubbles on plants

Hi!
I found bubbles mostly on the underside of my java ferns. Does that mean my plants are photosynthesising and are healthy?

Bubbles on the leaves is a good sign. But I think the size of the bubbles makes me think you are adding to much CO2 and have too much nutrients. I may be wrong. The bubbles on my leaves are about 1/64th inch or less. My dKH is 4 and I allow my pH to go no lower then 6.8. If you do not have a CO2 checker then I advise you get one. If your pH drops to 6.0, then all nitrification stops.
There is a CO2 chart available that gives the CO2 concentration in ppm based on dKH & pH.
I also have a pH meter. With this equipment, I know I am within the range of proper CO2 concentration. The CO2 checker will change color from blue to green letting me know that there is enough CO2 in the water. I had my CO2 system operating for only 4 weeks and I would be interested in what others have to say about the size of the bubbles.

To the photo and OP, are those bubbles continual every day, or is this after a water change or a new tank?

I agree that if the bubbles stick to the plants, its probably not from photosynthesis (Java fern isn't known to Pearl).

Byron's questions will help us figure it out. Don't panic, its probably not harmful.

i have no clue about live aquatic plants i can only get bulbs to ferment then they rot eversince i has been afraid but with 2 expert supermoderaters I am sure this will be solved but i was thinking that those big bubbles might be from build up from filter flow if not from plants or combo of both

I put the plants in 4 days ago, and the bubbles have been on the plant since yesterday. I probably have too much air flow in the water, so I turned my air pump off lets see if it changes anything.

Thanks for all your feedback!!!
