i found a carnivourous plant in my aquarium called bladderwort! its about 3 inches long with now and about 10 "bags" on it. Im doing research on how to care of it but... anyone have any experience with this plant?
i have some too:lol:. Its harmless. The traps are a mm wide max. All it does is trap the micro organisms you can barely even see. I have it in two tanks and it has yet to be a problem. I keep sundews as well, another carnivorous plant, but non-aquatic.
yea i used to care for venus fly traps i had one that lasted for some years...but here in big Texas, when the summer season came... the blazing heat ate it up.
I wouldn't keep it in a tank with tiny fry, but other than that it's harmless.
Probably can just treat it like duckweed or any other floating plant.
If you ever get some live daphnia or cyclops for your fish, know that the plant will enjoy it just as much.
Yeah me neither, but there was a bag of it sold at the last auction I went to. I bought some plants there. Something I got must of been from the same seller.
