Black Beard removal?

I have been fighting an uphill battle with one species of algae, it clings tightly to rough edges and around plant leaves, the only success I have had in removing it is to physically remove the object to which it is attached. It is black, furry, not slimy, and grows slowly but persistently. One person called it Black beard. I have other types of algae, green spot and green hair, but not very much at all of those. The tank is 36 gallon and has 130 watts of light, 2 tubes of 5,000k, 1 tube of 10,000k, and one tube of 03. It is medium planted and fully stocked with fish. DIY CO2 injected, maintained at about 25ppm, ph is 7.4 at 25ppm of CO2. I fertilize with root tabs and use eco-complete, I use carbon in the filter and have a Hornwort plant floating at the top to try to keep excess nutrients out of the water. Please help me find a way to get rid of the awful stuff once and for all.

nothing much u can do against black brush algae. get rid of it and eventually it'll come back because the spores are everywhere. u can control it by pruning affected leaves. SAE do eat it, as fishkid says, but only if it is the last thing in the tank to eat. I read somewhere that black brush algae does not appear in any tank which PH is below 7. Its hell.
