I bought an Anubias nana not to long ago and i noticed that the leaves are getting black spots on them. Is this an algae or is it simply dying? Is it true that you dont bury the roots? or do you tie it to a rock until it attaches? thank you :)

Wattage= 2 compact flourescent light bulbs (one is 12 watts the other is 13)
Freshwater
temp=74-84 degrees F
Salt in aquarium (about 1 tablespoon per 3 gallons)

This is the best pic i could get at the momment

YOU don not have to plant it you can tie it to wood or rock, its roots may adhere, If you want to plant ti just leave the base out, i have anubias that are well burried and grew fast. Anubias are olw light, slow growing plants that are prone to algea if in m-h light or floating.Your best bet is to use algae fix (just a detergent) and wash the plant with it, then buy a shrimp/fish that eats black algea.
