I agree w/ Lisa and have two little tanks (Eclipse 6, just like yours) set up nearly indentically to hers, black backgrounds with black sand. In them I have growing growing java moss, java fern, bacopa caroliniana & monnieri, cabomba caroliniana, cryptocoryne undulata, didiplis diandra, hygrophila difformis, and one other plant that I have no idea. Most of these are stem plants so while it sounds jam packed I have two stems of this, two stems of that, etc. Plants continue to grow for their entire lifespan so there will always be some trimming and pruning to be done. I find that one of the enjoyable chores of keeping and maintaining planted aquariums.
