i have a mysterious aponogeton hybrid... its either crispus or undulatus, but probably some hybrid. anyway, it sent up floatng leaves and then some flower stalks. i tried to pollinate them with a paintbrush like i do roses and peppers. anyway, one of the flowers has these little green teardrop shaped growths...
does anyone know if they're plantlets or some kind of seed pod?

what do aponogeton seeds look like?

i hope they're plantlets so i can move and trade them easier...

thanks in advance, guys. im sure someone will know!

I've never tried this with any of my aquarium plants that flower, but a few months back there was a thread from a member who had aponogeton seeds he was going to plant, and I remember discussing how to do that. I suppose he got the seeds from his aponogetons. If you go back and review the threads in this section you may find it. It was a few months, but I can't recall closer than that, and I certainly can't remember the member's name.

Byron.
