you'd be surprised with you pictures, often we ourselves think
they are crummy, however that's not always the case,
look forward to seeing them when you get round to it.

While that is true, the pictures I currently have are NOT good enough for you to even tell its a fish tank!

I just haven't gotten around to taking anymore lately. I will try to get some more pictures this weekend.

The tank looks absolutely stunning. Excellent work!

I can't say I'm a fan of the angels, but that's 100% a matter of personal preference. They do contrast really well against the plants, though.

i have to say, this is my kind of tank. black substrate w/ plants and a large school of neons. well done.

i would add only 2 things cherry red shrimp. you only need 5-10 and they'll reproduce in the tank for ya. they're a great addition and stand out with the black substrate and plants just like the neons! the second thing id do is paint the background black or paint something black to put up as a background. i know you said you had a blue one but in my opinion black with black gravel looks best and really makes things pop. regardless of shrimp or backgrounds its still a great looking tank.

I think those angels would probably view the shrimp as a tasty treat. With all that plant cover it might take them a while to eat all of them, but that would just be prolonging the massacre, I think.

Shrimps

For a while, prior to getting more involved in the Fish hobby, I did have 2 "bamboo" shrimp from Petco. They lived for about 2 1/2 years, but died....
I had thought of adding shrimp at one point, but I already have several Ottos in there and 2 Cories, and I thought almost word for word what iamntbatman said in his last post, so I havent added any at the moment.

Well according to Fishforum.com...
