Anarchis plants

Do Anarchis plants die quickly? I bought one bunch last month and they turned brown within two or three weeks. My other plants are thriving. I have a fern, water wisteria, and Amazon swords. All are doing well except for the anarchis. Any thoughts from more experienced people? Thank you, Lonnie

This stem plant does better in cooler water, which is why it is so useful in garden ponds and goldfish tanks (goldfish will eat it obviously). I had no luck with it, it always falls apart within weeks.

If those other plants are doing well, I would forget Anacharis. Cabomba might be a substitute.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

Thank you for responding Byron. This is the answer I was looking for. I have also been curious about the Cabomba plant. Lonnie
