So we can answer this question more thoroughly we need to know what type of ferts your using the type of lighting you have on your tank and is this a new plant. I would also want you to describe the yellowing of the plant is this happening in a new or establish aquarium it seems as if there is a deficiency somewhere. Describe the plant food and your dosage as this can also be a factor.

im using flourish comprehensive (1/3 capful since i have a 20 gallon tank) also flourish tabs put in the sand. the plant is a week old and its also a new setup. the light is a 15w t8 flourescent glo light. i also have a java fern, argentine sword, anubias and dwarf hairgrass. all are doing fine. its a sand substrate with rocks and driftwood. i dose the liquid twice a week.

This is why you're seeing some dieing off of leaves. It's very common for this to happen when plants are moved to a new setup. My swords lost all of their leaves when I put them in my tank, but grew back from the roots. Just make sure the roots stay where you put them and your swords will be just fine.

I concur. The plant will be OK if you see new leaves emerging from the centre of the crown. The existing leaves will likely die off. I see no issues with light or nutrients.

Byron.
