My apologies, I made the (incorrect) assumption you were just starting out in the hobby.

You obviously know you're re doing with the CO2. I'm interested in setting up a high-tech tank, but don't have the $$ for CO2 right now - I'm envious! I totally agree that a pH meter is the most reasonable & practical way to control CO2 levels in a tank.

It took me a while to get the planted tank where I wanted it. The EI formula was the best thing I learned. I've seen really nice planted tanks with discus. I got 4 tanks dedicated to this project. I've been on forums for a year trying to learn as much as I can. I'm now ready to proceed. I got all my c02 equipment from green leaf aquarium. The Price is a little high but equipment is top notch and Orlando is very goOd in customer support. Hope you can get your co2 going soon
