Advice on Christmas moss

I'm getting Christmas moss and i do NOT have any lights above my tank. I've had some amazon sword in my tank for over 4 months now, and it's been slow growing but it's been living, so could my christmas moss live/grow without becoming too much of a problem? I'm planning on tying them to 2 coconut huts and a tree stump ornament. If i have very low light, will there be no algae problems in my tank? I do not want to strip my tank to clean. And also, my biggest fear is the christmas moss growing into my filters, what is the risk of this happening?

$5 per golfball size. Spend $20 and you get 1 portion addition free (Ex. buy 4, get 1 free) Shipping's $5.50 priority mail. BUT the guy has snails in the tank.. I haven't bought from him yet for that reason. Still deciding if i wanna risk having snails run the tank:/ Here's his link.
