Oh yeah definitely, but I hope it's not THAT far apart My Ph in my tank now is about 7.2. I have to test my tap though.

Oh also, what type of cory do you receommend for warm water (79 degrees-ish). I'm going to try my hand at them again once I plant it. I think now that the tank is much more established, I can have success with them.

Thanks Holly. I'm ordering my gravel and a large treestump on the 15th (the stump is out of stock until then). It's pretty cool looking though, and I think the Angel fish will really enjoy it considerin gtheir natural habitat. Here's a link for the heck of it. Aquarium Decorations & Fake Driftwood: O.S.I. Marine Smooth Bark Tree Stump Ornaments

Once that arrives, I will order my plants for a Friday delivery and make the change on Saturday morning (looking like a couple weeks probably).

Thanks. I loved it and I think it will go very nicely in a natural looking planted tank. It will almost reach the top of my tank so hopefully it will be very natural looking. Got great reviews from other users too

Lisa 79 or more is very high for a Cory; one that comes to my mind first for a high temp 55g is the Bronze Cory who tolerates 67-82F

Others: Pepper Cory 72-78 Skunk Cory 72-79 Salt & Pepper Cory 72-79 Three-lined Cory (in the picture with the Killi here) 72-78 Adolfo's Cory 68-78 Julii 73-79

I love the three-lined cory but it doesn't seem feasible for my tank. What temp do you keep your tanks at? Seems like the Bronze Cory is the best option for me if I go cories. Any other bottom feeders that can tolerate 79 degrees?

I'd determine a Temp based of your WHOLE stock > Is it what's in your sig???
It say's there you have 1 cory cat - Which one do you have there?

Yes, minus the Silver Dollars which will be going back to the LFS the day I do my change over. All my cories kept dying on me. I'm hoping with a planted tank and it being fully established now, I can keep cories. I'm not sure what breed he is, honestly. He is huge. Bigger than I've ever seen a cory get. I'll see if I can find the breed on Seriously Fish.
