yellow cichlids

hi i have a 60ltr fish tank i have 9 yellow cichlids in it also a plec will my yellow cichlids still breed in this size fish tank plus i have just bought some ocean rock so will that help

Erm.. 9 yellow cichlids.. I'm guessing you mean Electric yellow, and a plec, again guessing you mean common pleco. You are way overstocked and the fish will likely die from ammonia poisoning as they grow. A common pleco can grow to the size of your tank, neither it or the electric yellows should be in a tank that size. For the cichlids you would want at least a 200 litre tank and the pleco should have around 300 litres or larger.

As to your question about breeding.. dead fish aren't prone to breeding but I have seen fish survive and even breed in abomnible conditions before although I would really encourage you to return all your fish.
