Odd you'd say that. My elodeas keep flowering in my pond during summer.:)

hmmm blue i think your analyses was correct i think it is Elodea densa. is that ok in my tank? wat do you think of my layout and the fish? they like to swim up and down the corner of my tank. a previous thread said they were stressed. do they look stressed?
It seems your tank is barren in other areas with only a bunch of plants standing. Would recommend you single out the plants and planted them individually.

i am very amzed when blue said my pix were to big.....i see all the others pix of other ff users and they have better quality than my pix. or is it my camera was way better than theirs? canon powershot s50
It is indeed too big. 3800KB and up.
Try Irfanview for resizing although you'll need the photobucket to convert the format to jpg.:)

actually, the forum hosts other filetypes as well as .jpg. also, i believe that irfanview will change the filetype for you too, cuz thats what i use...and i never host my pics online. i upload them straight off my desktop.

Ok. Click "Image" on Menu Bar. Then click "Resize/Resample". After than, click on the pixels "800" in length. Your width will automatically be set in anyway when you click the length and type "800".
"800x600" is the maximum for picture uploading in this forum.:)

Have you now tested your water? Do you know what the test results should look like?
Nitrite should be 0.0, anything above is dangerous (water changes should sort that)
Ammonia should also be 0.0, as it is also very poisonous
ph is usually about 7.0, but can be anything from 6.5 to 7.5 usually (depending on the fish)
Nitrate should be lower than 30, the lower the better. If yours is particularly high, more plants quickly reduce that.
Try to get all those tests done at your lfs, and record the exact results, do not let them say "yeah it's fine, so what do you want to buy?"
Also, you have said your tank is 10 gallons; your sig says 15 gallons..?
Good luck. :D
