WOOT! Fully cycled!

FINALLY my 28 gallon is fully cycled!!! I've just added my 4 swordtails from their old ten gallon to their new home. They were a little frightened at first but they seem to be ok now. They are even swimming through the bubbles :) I'm thinking just incase my filter is having trouble with keeping up with these fish, should I take the filter from my ten gallon and run it beside the newer filter? I'm sure it wouldn't hurt but I always like to get the ok from you guys. But yeah, I think my fish really like their new home. Well I really hope they like their new home. I would like to keep my ten gallon running though. So I can use it for a hospital tank... Or some other fish... More then likely more fish because I hate having and empty tank. It drives me nuts! Any advice?

I put the filter in anyways, I figure theres no harm. If there wasn't anything going on in then ten then theres no way it could mess up the 28. I got some pictures if anyones interested. The fake plants are not staying. They are just taking up space until I buy more live plants.

Thanks :D The lettuce looks funny but meh, my snail isn't complaining. What do you think about me adding a male betta? I really want one, they are very pretty. I don't want him to attack my fish and I've heard that it's a possibility, but I don't want to go into the fish store again and see all the poor little fellas just floating in their little bowl of water... It makes me so sad to see a pretty critter suffering like that :(

the bad news is, they will probably have SOME kind of conflict :(

the GOOD news is 10 gallon tanks at petco are only 12 bucks, and whisper hob filters for a 10 gal are only another 12 or so :D

Lol well I suppose the good news is that I already have a ten gallon all set up and ready to go. Theres no lid though. And therefore no light. So I will save up for a lid and light so I can have plants in with him. Thanks!

Yikes, good call. I don't want any dried up fish on my floor... That would be very sad... And very gross...

dried up? nah. I was sleeping at the time. she made her escape, stole my car keys and $40 bucks from my wallet. A few months later she was spotted dating a shady looking oscar and then last we heard of her she had used my credit card to buy a fur coat in las vegas then disappeared again.
