Will ich meds kill the cycle in a new tank?
Thanks.

I QT'ed both fish that had multiple spots.
Then I only had one fish with one spot.
I added the salt and the spot is gone.
If it's ich free for a while I would consider
adding a couple new fish.
The QT is a different story, two fish still have
spots and want it ich free for a weeks before
moving any fish from there.

I posted this in disease forum also.
I want to switch from blue meds to salt.
I am not sure about this guy but there
is one angel with two ich spots.
What do you think?
Thanks.

Maybe it's only me but they look barely like ich to me. Hard to say as they're blurry. Doesn't hurt to dose salt. I'd go for it.

(Edited)
( The angel with 2 spots and the angel in the photo are in the 46 )
It's been 10 days of salt in the 72 gal.
( Missed water change on 2 days, Got busy )
No spots. Spot free for a while. Cool...
The color of the snakeskin gourami and pleco is a little off.
I am thinking I should remove 1/2 the salt today.
What do you think?

Sorry, I missed that post.
The 2 with what really looked like ich were moved to QT day one.
The gourami had one or two spots for a couple
days and then had one spot for a couple days.
He has been clear for the 4 to 6 days.
I think 4 or 5, My wife thinks 5 or 6.
His color has been dark but he brightens up right
after feeding. He never used to get all dark looking.
Not sure what his deal is.
No other fish have had any spots ever.
Knock on driftwood.
I am also learning that all spots are not
ich thanks to the helpful people here.
Thanks.

Hmmm...I guess you can give it 2-3 more days before pulling out the salt gradually.
