so would this be ok to use in my fresh water tanjk? or should i go buy the really expensive aquarium silicone, or is this stuff the same?

usually you can use any to be honest, I don't use "aquarium" version ... i go to my local Habitat Restore and but a tube for 2 bucks... lol... slap it in a caulk gun and your good to go...


Just make sure you take your finger and smooth it out... clear looks better but you can use white. so it looks like a new seal and arcs between the walls.

not all will work. well they will work for holding water in the tank, some have chemicals for molds and things. these can be toxic for aquarium life so your safest bet is going with a 100% silicon which this one appears to be, you should be fine.

lol you do have a point, however I should have specified that it hat to be 100% silicone.
