After the white water fog, i panicked and did a 90% water changed, and cleaned the plants and wood with tap water. I also cleaned the filters (not the media, which was cleaned with aquarium water) with tap water. If the results i got mean that all my bacteria are dead, then i guess i killed them all in that water change. I will try to get a filter pad with benificial bacteria from someone.

That could definitely be what did it. You should try to always clean any aquarium decor in established tank water. The chlorine that your water conditioner removes from tap water could kill off your colony of good bacteria. They 90% water change could have done the same. I don't think I would recommend changing out any more than about 50% of your water at a time.

Any time that I have felt the need to do a big water change, I've changed out 50% or so, refilled it with dechlorinated water, and then did it again.

A filter from an established aquarium would speed up the process. So would a handful of gravel from a healthy, established aquarium.

Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of.
