Where to buy fish online?

I have decided that I would like to buy a couple of clown loaches. I thought I had a handle on my snail issue, when a few days ago I squashed 2 of them. Today I go to the tank and HOLY $^!# there about 13 of them in my tank! The only place to buy fish in my area is Wal-Mart and they don't even have an clown loaches so that is out of the question. The next nearest place to me is about 30 minutes from me.

Does anyone have a recommendation to a goof place online? I read an About.com article and the guy said that he had bought from a few places and that he had good and bad experiences, and then he doesn't SAY which places were good that he went too.

TIA!

Keep in mind that buying fish online usually means a very high shipping cost (starting at around $30, usually). That'd be a pretty expensive solution to your snail problem.

Also, is the snail problem in the 10 gallon tank in your tank blurb? You definitely shouldn't put clown loaches in a 10g tank, as these fish can get to be over a foot long and need the company of a group of loaches in order to be comfortable.

You could always manually remove the snails by putting in a piece of lettuce or other vegetable in the tank overnight. The snails will all be crowded on it by morning and you can just pull them out.

Lettuce?

Do I just put the lettuce in the tank? I mean, it is floating, can they still get to it if it is floating? Do I push it to the bottom and put a rock on it to hold it down?

If whatever veggie you use floats, then you can weigh it down with something so it sinks.
