appropriate live foods include mealworms, crickets, shrimps, feeder fish, small frogs, and earthworms. Prepared foods include prawns (shrimp), lean pork, frozen fish food, and pelleted food ( they hate pellet food trust me )

they forgot mice,centipedes and geckos .

Only thing I have a teensy problem with is geckos. :[ They're considered good luck where I'm from. D:

hahaha i tried mealworms or superworms that were fed with oats.i fed them on purpose till they were at least 3 inches then i stir fried them and they taste like french fries.watched too much tv and was influenced by Anthony Bourdain.

OMG, I think I just fell in love with the arowana. I want!

As far as live foods, I have no issues feeding ANY of my animals live foods. I will willingly feed live prey items to my ferrets, snakes, gecko, and fish. Live foods provide not only nutrition but stimulation as well. I really hope that as I get more into the fish keeping world, I am able to provide my fish with plenty of live foods to keep them healthy and happy.

my fish can eat your snake if it was hungry and wanted too lol if your gonna keep arowana pls keep your other pets away from the tank.anything struggling on the water surface is considered food.even if they cant eat it they will kill it.

Yeah, plus fingers are on the menu. :D or at least for my puffers they are... damn beaks.

havent been nipped by one and i'm not intending too either =p my arowana feeds from my hand.he nipped me the other day.felt like being bitten by a python.
