I have posted a separate thread in the freshwater section with a picture of the fish, I just fed them some flakes and he went for them and managed to eat some, looked like mouth shut a bit, but then afterwards it was still open..

Check the picture in its own thread, cheers guys.

No, looks clear. It's definitely his bottom jaw is jutted out quite prominently. Nothing noticeable in the mouth and gills look fine, he's swimming about ok.
