Whats a good temperature

For tropical fish. My tank usually stays around 76-78 degrees. Is this to hot or to cold? Right now I only have a Gourami, Diamond tetras and a couple of gold barbs in there. I want to eventually convert it to African ciclids.

78 degrees is perfect for most tropical fish, but you can't have african ciclids with the fish you already have.

And just before you laid dead weight upon its shores, I stung you in the face for that's the nature of my core.

Thanks Fizz! I may have to move my current fish out when I get the African guys. 8)
