What are your favorite fish?

You guys have probably done this before, but I am curious. Even though I have not had a lot of different ones of each kind, I will answer shortly.

What are your favorite fish for each kind below:

South American Cichlid:
Central American Cichlid:
Rift Lake Cichlid (including Victoria):
and....All time favorite....the one fish that you have always wanted to keep and have kept multiple times:

Thanks Angel! It is fun to see what others like. I have not had a lot of each type so it is going to be hard for me pick.

I should have added also:

Any other type that I have not listed:
(I forgot the rainbows...love them but have not had them yet)

Type of fish you have always wanted to have but have not been able to have them yet:

My favorite fish? LOL. Like trying to pick a favorite star out of the sky for me.

Most are not aquarium fish.

In no particular order.

Brown trout - Salmo trutta
Greenback cutthroat trout - Oncorhyncus clarki stomias
African Dwarf Frogs - Hymenochirus boettgeri
Serpae tetra - Hyphessobrycon eques
Golden dorado - Salminus brasilensus
Sculpins, gobys, & blennys - they crack me up
Groupers - i like them all
Swordfish & sailfish - all of them
Tuna - all of them
Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa' (picasso trigger) - Rhynecanthus rectangulus
Orange puffers - dunno the latin
Goonch catfish - Bagarius yarelli
Whale shark - Rhincodon typus

Fantasy fish? A trigger maybe. Although some kind of artificial river setup with salmonids if we want to get way out in lala land.

Accidental aquarist.
Dangerous motorist.
Opinionated lout.
