Sparkling gouramis, no contest.

Since reacquainting myself with fish, I haven't kept a huge variety. But out of the fish I have kept, recently and years ago, these are definitely my favorite.

I have a fat ol' mutt that's likely a beagle/doberman mix. He's actually a pretty smart dog, but he recently has gone essentially completely deaf so it's difficult to get him to do any of his tricks anymore. The other dog is a purebred beagle that's as dumb as a box of rocks. He's currently on an intense medication regimen to get his liver back in shape after he nearly died of liver failure due to eating seventy-four cents in change. He's...not too bright. So I guess that's not saying too much for the Jack Dempsey, but at least he's learned how to jump out of the water to eat food out of my hand!

A beagle/dobie mix? I can't say I've ever seen that combo. Must be pretty cute! As far your other dog eating change...hope he gets better soon.

Your Dempsey jumps out of the water to eat out of your hand?? You've gotta get that on video and post it. That's amazing. Smart fish.

By far my favorite fish is my south american lungfish. The clown loach gang is fun to watch and my bichirs odd antics are nice too.

Eating change can give you liver failure?

.... Uh oh....

Seriously though, really? I mean obviously it can't be good for you but liver failure??
