The tetras love to eat them but the little bugs sit on top of the leaves of my Kliener Bar sword which has grown so well the leaves are now at and above the surface. I'll give the leave a shake to disperse them, the fish will eat as many as they can but they can hop around very quickly, and retreat to the tops of the leaves. What the heck are they called again??

I chatted ya, ya know! Should I say your weird luck? Plants can harbor them. Extra protein that they relish though.

Make sure the underside of your light hood is clean. I saw bugs my tank, then I noticed the plastic cover on the light was all funky with stuff growing on it like cocoons. I clean my hood every week and have never seen another bug.

Thanks for the info, but my hood is spotless. This tank is in my bedroom, the tank is cleaned to perfection every week, because after all, I sleep in this room!

(Seriously, cocoons? El grosso! )
