Re: what fish to add....?
Which cichlids are you planning to keep? Plenty can uproot plants. The exceptions are discus, angelfish, keyholes, festivums, blue rams, Bolivian rams and apistogrammas. Cichlids have plenty of personalities so do not expect one to be very aggressive or aggressive to your expectations. For a tank that size, I'd recommend rams or apistos with pencilfish, tetras, cories, otos and small species of plecos for tankmates.

Does anyone have any suggestions on pretty aggressive fish that do well in planted tanks? I just want some fish that will be fun to have, not just pretty to look at.[/list]
