Welcome.

I would advise cycling your tank first before you get your fish.:) Instructions based on cycling can be found on one of the sticky threads posted in this section. I would recommend buying API Freshwater Master liquid test kit to start with.

As for fish, you might like danios for surface. Tetras, pencilfish, rasboras and some barbs for mid level. Cories, otos, ancistrus plecs and loaches for the bottom. Please do ask which type of fish you like and we'll be more than glad to help you start your hobby.

Enjoy.8)

I reckon you should get a

Bottom dwelling fish:

An Ancistrus ( Bristlenose Catfish ) or/and a couple of corydoras

Mid dwelling fish:

maybe tetras? ( cardinals, neons, Black neons and glowlights are just a few i would recommend )

Top dwelling fish:
Maybe some hatchetfish and Some balloon mollies?

Hope this helps! :D

Best regards, flatcam1
