What color is this PH?

I have started to cycle the tank so took an initial ph test.

I cannot figure out what reading it is as the color in tube looks nothing like the test sheet.

what ph do you think it is?

I'm not good at this and I usually have my tube right next to the colours. In the second photo, it looks like 6.6 to me.

You need to put a white background behind the tube so that we can see the color in a pic. Put a piece of paper behind it or something.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

I'm not even seeing a color in that tube but it's probably more my eyes and the fact that the entire tube isn't up a completely white backgroud. Can you reshoot another pic with the entire tube against the white of the card? Maybe someone with younger eyes can see what cooler that is.
How old is your test kit? I wonder if it isn't expired, thereby giving you an inaccurate reading? I can't think of anything else that would give a "doesn't match" color on a card, other than performing the test improperly but the PH test is pretty hard one to mess up. A few drops, a few shakes, done. Do you shake your bottles of reagents before you drop the drops into the test tubes??

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

LOL, can you shoot the pic with the tube next to the card, with the tube clearly in the white portion of the card? I still can't make out anything as far as comparisons unless the tube is right next to the colors on the card.

I dont know what you guy's problem is- it looks like 6.9 to me.
(look at the bottom of the vial- matches 6.8. Maybe the vial is crusty or something.

to be honest it does not look like 6.9, the color 6.8 and 7.0 is nothing like it

thanks anyway!

It's prolly more like the 6.2 range. I'm going by the pics. of the tube by itself agains the white background. Very similar to mine which is always around 6.2 out of the tap (well water).
