Well Water... Water Softener...

I have had bad luck with my fish and well water over the years... It has killed fish in the past... However I have to import my water from my business in the city to run my aquariums in the country.

I had a water test done a few days back after my hair was turning orange... I brought a sample of water in to be tested and everything was said to be fine, but a water softener would help.

Now would a water softener help me use my water for my fish?

Tell you the truth, I don't know, but I have well water and use a water softener and haven't had any problems. I went straight from city water to well water.
